Settings

From the Settings menu, you can customize your Aqua experience:

MEV & Rug Protection

MEV Protection is always enabled on Aqua to protect users from front-running and sandwich attacks.

What this means for you:

  • Your orders cannot be manipulated before execution

  • Transactions are routed through Aqua’s private RPC infrastructure

  • Guarantees minimal costs and successful transactions

Aqua’s system combines:

  • Private RPC nodes

  • Protected transaction batching

  • Anti-sniping mechanisms

2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)

2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is an optional security feature that can be enabled to protect your account. When activated, certain actions like transferring funds will require a 2FA code for confirmation.

Slippage

  • Difference between the expected trade price and the execution price due to volatility

  • Auto (Recommended): Aqua adjusts slippage automatically

  • Manual: Set your own slippage %

Custom RPC

By default, Aqua uses a premium Solana node for speed and reliability. However, if you prefer, you can use your own custom RPC.

Advantages of using a custom RPC:

  • More control over your node and connections.

  • Improved privacy since transactions go through your infrastructure.

To set your custom RPC:

  1. Click the Custom RPC button.

  2. Enter your RPC URL

  3. Done. The RPC you use will now appear in the settings.

If you want to switch back to the default, simply click the Use Default RPC button, and Aqua will revert to its premium node.

Gas Fees: Auto Tip & Priority Fee

  • No need to manually configure Auto Tip or Priority Fee

  • Aqua automatically optimizes them to:

    • Minimize fees

    • Ensure the fastest possible execution

Priority Fee Levels:

There are 3 levels of priority fees, each designed to speed up transactions, but higher levels come with higher fees:

The trades are fast by default, but as you increase the priority level, you’ll pay more to the Solana network for faster transaction processing

  1. Level 1 (Fast) – 60% priority: A solid choice for most trades, offering a good balance between cost and speed.

  2. Level 2 (Turbo) – 75% priority: Recommended for regular use. It ensures faster transactions without being too costly.

  3. Level 3 (Ultra) – 95% priority: Only necessary for critical events like launches or presales. This level is designed for extreme situations where speed is crucial but not suitable for daily trading due to its higher cost.
